Meet Erica Current
Erica Current is the founder of The Skin Room, an award-winning medical spa in Naples, Florida. Known for her results-driven approach to skin health, she has built a reputation for combining advanced treatments with highly individualized care.
After earning her Bachelor of Applied Science degree, Erica continued her education in aesthetics, becoming a Licensed Medical Aesthetician with advanced training and certifications in Laser and Electrolysis. Her commitment to continued education and evolving technologies continues to shape her approach to aesthetics today.
Her path to The Skin Room
Erica built The Skin Room from the ground up, opening its doors in 2020 after years of working alongside plastic surgeons. Her experience in medical aesthetics gave her invaluable knowledge while also revealing a gap in the industry: a need for a space dedicated specifically to skin.
She envisioned an establishment where advanced treatments, skin health, and individualized care could be the sole focus. That vision became The Skin Room.
A team trained in her approach
As The Skin Room grew, Erica expanded the business into its current storefront and built a team that shares her approach to skin care. She personally developed The Skin Room’s treatment protocols and trained each aesthetician in her methods, creating a consistent standard of care throughout the practice.
That same philosophy remains at the heart of The Skin Room today: exceptional results, personalized care, and an experience that makes every client feel genuinely cared for.

Erica’s accomplishments include recognition as a 40 Under 40 honoree. The Skin Room has also been named Best of the Gulfshore for Best Facial in Naples from 2022 through 2026, a readers’ choice honor recognizing Southwest Florida favorites.
